Hey there! My name is Kim. I am married to my college sweetheart and own a corgi named Remmy.

I majored in Fashion Merchandising from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. I was T-shirt Chair for my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. I actually had to create a fashion blog for a class, so Garment To Be was first started on Blogger back in 2012. However, I did not keep up with it and it has since been deleted…I think…

I previously worked in the bridal industry selling wedding dresses at Bel Fiore Bridal in Marietta, GA, which was so much fun! I was also a sales associate at Loft for a hot minute.

I currently work as a project coordinator at Fiserv, a financial technology company. While it pays the bills, I definitely miss being involved in the fashion industry. So I wanted to start this blog and my Instagram @garmenttobe to share my passion and hopefully share some advice.
